Launch Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 6, 2026
1. Overview
Launch is a macOS app by Paran for managing App Store Connect metadata, screenshots, preview videos, app version status, and local metadata files. We do not collect directly identifying personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or payment information through Launch.
2. Information You Enter or Store
You may enter App Store Connect API credentials, including Key ID, Issuer ID, Private Key, or a .p8 file. These credentials may be stored in the Keychain on your device or in the local workspace you choose. They are not sent to our servers.
3. App Store Connect Data
Launch uses the App Store Connect API credentials you provide to request app lists, app version status, metadata, screenshots, preview videos, and app information from Apple App Store Connect, and to upload supported content when you request it. This data is used for display, comparison, local file storage, upload review, and metadata synchronization.
4. Local Workspace
Launch may store app settings, local metadata JSON, screenshots, preview videos, remote snapshots, comparison results, and upload plan files in a folder you choose. These files remain on your device or in the storage location you manage.
5. GPT Patch and External AI Tools
Launch can generate prompts for GPT-style tools and apply GPT result JSON that you paste into the app to local metadata files. Launch itself does not require a separate AI API key and does not directly send prompts to an AI provider. If you paste prompts or metadata into an external AI tool, that external provider's terms and privacy policy apply.
6. Third Parties
We do not collect your API credentials, metadata, screenshots, videos, or GPT patch content on our servers, and we do not sell your personal information. When you use specific features, required data may be sent to Apple App Store Connect API or to an external service you choose.
7. Retention and Deletion
Credentials stored in Keychain can be deleted through the app's controls, macOS Keychain Access, app data deletion, or app removal. Files stored in your local workspace can be deleted directly from that folder.
8. Platform Information
App distribution, download statistics, and crash reports may be handled by Apple according to App Store and operating system policies. We do not use this information to identify you.
9. Contact and Changes
Contact us at [email protected]. We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, external APIs, platform policies, or legal requirements change. Updates will be posted on this page.
