Scripts And Rehearsal Data

Your scripts, roles, cue lines, rehearsal status, voice choices, and progress are stored locally using app storage. Line Rehearsal does not upload your complete script library or provide account-based cloud sync.

Device Voice

The free Device Voice uses Apple's speech system on your device. It does not send rehearsal text to Paran or Google and does not require an internet connection.

Voice Plus

If you select a Voice Plus natural voice, the app sends only the current partner line and your selected language, voice, and speaking speed to Paran's speech service. The service uses Google Cloud Text-to-Speech to generate that line's audio.

A random installation identifier and the minimum signed App Store purchase data needed to verify Voice Plus are also processed for entitlement checks, fraud prevention, rate limiting, and monthly usage limits. Installation and subscriber identifiers are stored only as one-way hashes for those safeguards; the Voice Plus application database does not store a network-address-derived identifier.

Generated speech may be cached on your device and by the speech service. Server-side generated audio is not reused from the cache after 30 days; deletion may occur later. The service cache stores generated audio and a one-way text-derived cache key, not the line text as a database field. Voice Plus does not send your full script as one document.

Analytics, Advertising, And Tracking

Line Rehearsal does not include advertising, third-party analytics, cross-app tracking, or advertising identifiers.

Permissions

Line Rehearsal does not require microphone, camera, contacts, location, calendar, or account permissions. It does not listen to or record your voice.

Purchases

Apple processes App Store purchases and subscriptions. Paran receives only the signed purchase information needed to verify Voice Plus access; payment-card details are not provided to Paran.
