Offline Transcript converts audio and video files you choose into editable transcripts on your device. The app does not require an account and does not collect personal data.
Imported media, transcripts, edits, timestamps, saved projects, and app settings stay on your device. Offline Transcript does not upload these files or their contents to Paran servers.
The app uses Apple speech recognition for files you select. Apple speech model assets may need to download before first use. After the required model is installed, transcription processing is performed on the device.
The app has no advertising, analytics, tracking, third-party account system, or Paran backend. It does not collect identifiers, contacts, location, browsing history, purchases, diagnostics, or usage data.
You choose every file that is imported. You can edit or delete saved projects in the app. Removing the app also removes its locally stored data unless the operating system preserves it in a device backup.
