Pronounce Practice is designed to keep your practice list on your device, with online speech generation for more natural playback.
Data Collection
Pronounce Practice does not collect analytics, tracking data, advertising identifiers, account information, microphone recordings, location data, contacts, or photos.
Phrase Content
Your phrase list, hints, selected language, speech speed, repeat count, pinned state, and exported text are stored on your device using app storage.
When you play a phrase with natural speech, the short phrase text, language, and speed may be sent to the speech service to generate audio. Generated audio may be cached so repeated playback is faster and cheaper. If online speech is unavailable or rate-limited, the app falls back to Apple system speech.
Pronounce Practice does not record your voice.
Permissions
Pronounce Practice does not require camera, microphone, speech recording, contacts, location, calendar, photo library, bank, Bluetooth, or account permissions.
