Privacy Policy

Chat Analyzer calculates factual patterns from a conversation export that you explicitly choose. The app does not require a Paran account and does not connect to your messenger account.
Chat files and on-device analysis
Selected WhatsApp, KakaoTalk, LINE, or Telegram exports are parsed on your device. Chat Analyzer does not upload chat files, message bodies, participant names, filenames, words, emoji, timestamps, or analysis results to Paran servers or to advertising services.
Message text is held only long enough to calculate the report you requested and is then discarded. Participant names from the export are not saved. Word and emoji counts for the open report remain only in memory and are not written to saved history.
Information saved on your device
If local history is enabled, the app may save a private alias you enter and non-content aggregate facts such as dates, message totals, active-day counts, response-time aggregates, session counts, and monthly totals. Android stores up to 30 local snapshots and excludes this data from Android backup and device transfer. Available deletion controls may vary by platform; every version provides an in-app control to delete all saved history.
Rewarded advertising and consent
Chat Analyzer uses Google Mobile Ads and Google User Messaging Platform for optional rewarded ads. The consent service may contact Google when the app opens to determine whether a regional privacy message is required. After applicable consent choices, a rewarded ad may be preloaded, but it is shown only when you choose a named locked report and explicitly select the rewarded-ad option.
Depending on your region and consent choices, Google Mobile Ads may collect and share an IP address used for approximate location, app interactions such as launches, taps and video views, crash and performance diagnostics, and device or account identifiers for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. This data is encrypted in transit. Chat files and chat-derived data are never supplied to Google. Publisher first-party identifiers are disabled in the app. The Apple version does not request App Tracking Transparency access to the IDFA.

Purchases
The optional one-time Full Access purchase is processed by the store where you installed the app: Apple through StoreKit or Google through Google Play Billing. Paran does not receive your payment card or bank details. The app checks the store-reported purchase state to deliver and restore access.
Notifications
On Apple platforms, if you choose a 7-day or 30-day reminder, the app schedules one local notification on your device. Reminder text contains no participant name, message, or analysis result. The Android version does not request notification permission or schedule reminders.
No Paran analytics or account database
Chat Analyzer has no Paran login, chat database, cloud sync, or first-party analytics backend. Paran does not receive your imported conversation or saved report history.
Your control
- You choose every file and every rewarded ad.
- You can use the free factual result without watching an ad or purchasing Full Access.
- A cancelled or unavailable ad does not consume a report or delete an import.
- You can delete saved snapshots and revisit applicable ad-consent choices.
