Edge Mood
Privacy Policy
Edge Mood creates ambient light on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac. Its light effects and settings work on your device.
Information handled by the app
Edge Mood does not collect or send personal information to Paran. It has no account system, advertising, tracking, analytics SDK, or connection to a remote service.
The app stores your selected theme, light style, intensity, edge width, motion, speed, shutoff choice, and selected Mac display locally. These preferences remain on your device until you change or remove the app’s stored data. We cannot access or erase them remotely. Edge Mood itself does not provide cloud synchronization; any operating-system backup is managed by your device and backup settings.
Device access
The app generates its own colored graphics. It does not read or record the contents of your screen, use your camera or microphone, or access your photos, contacts, location, or calendars. The Mac overlay ignores mouse input and does not require Screen Recording or Accessibility permission.
Apple platform information
Apple may provide us with aggregated, anonymized App Store statistics, such as download and sales trends. Apple may also handle diagnostics according to your device’s sharing settings. These platform services are separate from Edge Mood’s operation. Edge Mood contains no analytics SDK and does not send usage or diagnostic reports to Paran.
Apple’s handling of platform information is covered by Apple’s privacy policy.
When you contact support
If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include. We use that information to answer your request. Please send only the details needed to explain the issue. This voluntary support correspondence is separate from the app, which does not send information to us.
Changes and questions
We will update this page if Edge Mood’s privacy practices change. For privacy questions or help with local preferences, contact [email protected].
