Network Snapshot finds supported services that nearby devices choose to advertise on your local network, saves private snapshots on your device, and compares what changed.
Tap Find Services when you want to begin. If iPhone or iPad asks for Local Network access, choose Allow. If access was denied, open Settings, select Network Snapshot, enable Local Network, return to the app, and try again.
The app looks for eight declared web, print, media, file-sharing, and remote-access service types. A device may not advertise a supported service, and network isolation or router settings can prevent discovery. Network Snapshot is not a complete device inventory.
You can check one host and one port that you enter. The app does not scan a port range. A failed check can mean the host is unavailable, the port is closed, or the network blocks the connection.
Saved snapshots remain on your device and can be reopened after relaunch. Compare two snapshots to see added, removed, and changed results. JSON is created only when you choose Export.
No account is required. The app has no advertising, analytics, tracking, remote server, or cloud service. Read the privacy policy for details.
Email [email protected] for support. Include your device model, operating system version, and the step that did not work. Do not send private network details unless you intentionally choose to share them.
