Offline Transcript imports audio or video files you choose, transcribes speech on your device, and lets you search, edit, restore, and export the result as text or SRT captions.
Allow Speech Recognition when prompted. A network connection may be needed while Apple downloads the speech model for the selected language. After the model is available, transcription processing stays on the device.
Confirm that Speech Recognition is allowed in Settings, select the language spoken in the file, and keep enough free storage for the imported media and transcript. Some languages or models may not be available on every Apple device or operating system version.
Projects are stored locally and can be reopened after relaunch. Open a project to search or edit its transcript, then use export to create plain text or timed SRT captions.
No account is required. The app has no advertising, analytics, tracking, or server upload. Read the privacy policy for details.
Email [email protected] for support. Include your device model, operating system version, selected speech language, and the step that did not work. Do not attach private recordings unless you intentionally choose to share them.
